Vodafone New plans December 2019
Vodafone Idea Limited has hiked prices of its prepaid services by introducing new plans. These new plans will be available across India starting 3 December 2019.
NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea Limited has hiked prices of its prepaid services by introducing new updated new plans that be available across India starting December, 3 2019, it said in an official statement.
Vodafone Idea has announced new plans for prepaid product and services with 2 days, 28 days, 84 days, 365 days validity. The new plans are costlier up to 40 per cent compared to earlier plans.
The telco has also capped off-net calls or calls to other telcos like Reliance Jio, Airtel and BSNL under its unlimited packs.
Vodafone Idea said that local, STD and national roaming voice calls from Vodafone to Vodafone and Vodafone to Idea and vice versa are considered as on-net, while rest calls are off-net. "Off-net calls after the free usage in the plan, would be charged at 6p/min," it said.
The announcement has come on the backdrop of its highest quarterly loss of Rs 50,922 crore amid an adverse Supreme Court ruling on adjusted gross revenue (AGR).
Indian telecom carriers have the lowest average revenue per user worldwide with Vodafone Idea’s subscriber revenue at nearly Rs 105 a month.
